Where in Vacoas did we live?

I'm going to Mauritius for a familiy holiday at Easter. I would really love to find the house I lived in back in 1969 through to 1971 as a child. Just one problem. I don't have the address! I know it wasn't in the married quarters but try as I may I haven't been able to locate it. I remember a few things. The road had similar houses on each side and I think they were fairly new at the time. The house had 3 or 4  bedrooms with a car port and front garden. There were fields of sugar cane close by and the area was rural, but close to urban areas. My father, Bryan Hemingway wasn't an officer  so I don't think we would have lived in officer accomadation, if there was such a thing. I've attached a photo, my sister and I on the doorstep. Has anyone any ideas?

Hi Andy, I feel sure the house is one of a complex in Bonne Terre. I have sent you an e-mail with further details. Smiley
